The Central Electricity Regulatory Commission (CERC) on July 24, 2020 has issued the draft amendment to detailed procedure for “Grant of Connectivity to Projects Based on Renewable Sources to Inter-State Transmission System” under the CERC (Grant of Connectivity, Long-term Access and Medium-term Open Access in inter-State Transmission and related matters) Regulations, 2009. The Commission upon receiving feedback from Central Transmission Utility (CTU) amends the detailed procedure under the above-mentioned Regulations.
The procedure is applicable to Central Transmission Utility (CTU), Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE), Regional Load Despatch Centres (RLDCs), State Load Despatch Centres (SLDCs), State Transmission Utility and Renewable Energy Implementing Agencies like Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).
The Detailed Procedure for “Grant of Connectivity to projects based on renewable sources to inter-State transmission system” containing the proposed amendments in track change mode is available on the website of the Commission.
